I’m just filmed a broadcast pilot for ITV2 called Lovefix. It’s a show about love, sex and relationships. I host it with fellow comedian Kojo, Youtuber Hannah Witton and Ollie Locke. We had a blast filming it and it will be broadcast on Valentine’s Day 10pm ITV2.
I’ve been in Liverpool doing a workshop week for my play. The actors and the director were bloody amazing and hopefully it will be on at The Unity Theatre in Liverpool in the not too distant future.
I’m not going to be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe this year (too busy dropping a sprog) but a monologue I wrote will be featuring in a theatre show at the Pleasance. It’s celebrating ten years of the brilliant Comedian’s Theatre Company called 10x10x10.
Liverpool Hope playwriting prize
In super awesome lovely news, I won the inaugural Liverpool Hope playwriting prize. I get to work with the Royal Court theatre in Liverpool and I won some dollar, dollar. Here’s a picture of me with the other shortlisted writers. Yep, I’m the only vagina.
Here’s a bit about it that was in the Stage newspaper (I know fancy pants)
I did a gig for the charity Stoptober with some other brilliant comedians that was broadcast live on that there Youtube (Very modern).
I am delighted to be performing at both Latitude and End Of The Road Festival this year. I’ll be doing the Storytellers club shed (yes, shed!) at Latitude and compering the Comedy stage on Saturday afternoon at EOTR.
I’m taking my new stand up show ‘Happily ever after’ to the Edinburgh Festival in August. Here is the super cool poster.
Signed, sealed, delivery
I’ve just signed with Avalon management. They look after comedians that I think are bloody brilliant so I’m very much looking forward to being the black sheep of the family! I’m gonna get something pierced and buy a bottle of Malibu in anticipation.
On the Telly…
I just got married so that’s pretty big news but hey, even bigger news! TELLY NEWS! My episodes of ‘The Dog Ate My Homework’ will be broadcast on the 7th and 28th February 5pm on CBBC.
I’ve filmed two episodes of the CBBC show ‘The Dog Ate My Homework’. So my big Mulgrew face should be on your tele screens soon!
